And the winner is...

Remember that giveaway for FREE Earth Balance MindfulMayo I had?!

It's time to announce the winner!!! :) ..... which will be at the end of this post. Keep reading to find out who won!

Today, Stuart, my mom, and I all went to lunch at Melt, an eclectic, vegan-friendly deli.  Stuart had a BBQ chicken sandwich with redskin potatoes, and I had the ratatouille melt on GF bread with a side vegan caesar salad with tofu! It was super delicious. My mom had some sort of avocado/tofu sandwich and redskin potatoes, which looked pretty good too.

I saved the life of a worm that was stuck in the rocks and couldn't find his way back into the dirt, so I picked him up on a stick and carried him over to ditch where there was lots of nice dirt for him to burrow into.

This is Stuart sleeping on the way home. :)

Teehee!!! So cute! Although he was very angry about this picture at first....
Now it's time to get back to packing. Which I REALLY do not want to do, and I keep putting off. Clearly.

I've also been reading Kris Carr's Crazy Sexy Diet, which I rented from the library. SO GOOD! I'm feeling like I need to buy this book now. I've learned so much already, just within the first few pages, about the pH of our body and how we should strive to eat mostly alkaline foods to keep our blood basic. Anyone have a copy of that book you wanna send me?!

Alrighty. Time to announce the winner of my GIVEAWAY!!!!! Drum roll please.....

Congratulations to the infamous Jenn of PEAS AND CRAYONS!! Woohoo!!! :) Email me your address (rachael [at] passingdaisies [dot] net) and I'll get the coupon out to ya in the mail pronto!

  2. Love the layout of your blog - it's all so bright and cheery. :)

Mmm... Melt sounds like a great place for lunch. I want to say I've heard someone else talking about it, but I can't remember who it was. Though I guess it's possible there is more than one restaurant called Melt, haha! :)

  3. Thanks! :)

Melt is definitely delicious, but I think there is a fancy restaurant called Melt as well. This is a small, hole-in-the-wall place. But so good!
