Product Review: So Delicious! & a GIVEAWAY!

To be quite honest, I absolutely love the So Delicious brand. I always have! I've been on the lookout for their new Greek style yogurt, which I have yet to find...and when I find it, I'm stocking up!

Greek yogurt aside, So Delicious sent me six free product coupons to review some of their line! How awesome is that?! I had no idea what I wanted to try first!

I stopped at Whole Foods with Stuart to see what I wanted to review. The first thing that caught my eye was So Delicious' two new Christmas drinks: Eggnog and Mint Chocolate Milk. After that, I grabbed a bottle of their Cultured Strawberry Coconut Milk.

Stuart and I then journeyed to Krogers, where I picked up a pint of their no sugar (Stevia sweetened!) Mint Chocolate Chip Coconut Milk Ice Cream.

A few days ago, I found a quart of their Neapolitan Ice Cream (made with soymilk). I couldn't decide if  I wanted to try that or their Chocolate Peanut Butter, but I finally settled on Neapolitan!

Of course, So Delicious is never a let down. The first thing I tried was their Mint Chocolate Milk. Oh. My. GOODNESS. It was SO delicious (haha, how'd you like my unintentional pun?) and way better than any regular milk I've ever had (I hate normal milk. Gross.).  Very minty, very chocolaty, with a slight coconut flavor.  Creamy and smooth. Worth your money!

I warmed up some of this in a mug, added some Soyatoo and white chocolate chips and enjoyed a big ol' mug of hot mint chocolate!

Next was the eggnog. Let me give you a little preface for this product. I HATE regular eggnog. Always have! So I was a little hesitant and scared to try this one. But you know what? It was DELICIOUS. It was very thick and creamy, with a delicious hint of nutmeg. I actually liked this more than the Mint Chocolate Milk. I was surprised! But seriously, it was great, and it doesn't use eggs like regular eggnog does. I may have chugged some straight from the carton...go buy some.

Next up: Cultured Strawberry Coconut Milk.
I'm not sure what I was expecting with this, but this was NOT it. It was pretty much drinkable yogurt, which I guess makes perfect sense when I think about what it means to be "cultured." It was okay, and it definitely tasted like strawberries (and you could see pieces of strawberries, too), but not my thing. I don't really like drinkable yogurt, though. So that's probably why. Maybe I'm a little weird, but I like to eat my yogurt with a spoon. If you like drinkable yogurt, then you'll like this.

Next: Stevia sweetened Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.
This was really pretty good, especially if you're trying to avoid sugar. What I loved the most about this product was that you could eat 1/4 of the pint for only 120 calories. Most 1/2 cup servings of ice cream are usually between 220-300 calories, so this is a HUGE drop! Yay! Eat more for less! The flavor was pretty good too. It was creamy and slightly icy, but it tasted minty and the chocolate was delicious. My only complaint is that I could taste the Stevia in it. Then again, I have a very sensitive taste for Stevia, and I like to use it in baking only when I can't taste it in the final product. But this is still good. I would love to try it again, next time trying chocolate or butter pecan!

Finally: Neapolitan (Soy) Ice Cream.
This is definitely one of the better soy-based ice creams (or anything for that matter) I've had. I'm very gung-ho for my coconut milk ice cream, but this is pretty good. It's more icy than anything, but it definitely has a bit of creaminess to it. Like the Stevia ice cream, this one has only 120 calories per 1/2 cup serving. Chocolate is my favorite (as always), and it's delicious when eaten at the same time as the strawberry. The vanilla was good and had a strong vanilla flavor as well. Overall, a very good product, but I still prefer their coconut milk based ice creams! (I recommend Pomegranate Chip. SO GOOD.)

Overall, everything really was SO delicious. My least favorite product was the Cultured Strawberry Coconut Milk, and my favorite was definitely the Eggnog. My love for anything by So Delicious continues. If you haven't tried their new seasonal winter drinks, I highly recommend them.
