The Proust Questionnaire

Today, I'm going to be doing something called the Proust Questionaire, found on this blog, which came from Vanity Fair and was used to interview the famous :) That's me, right? Happy Saturday!

What is your idea of perfect happiness? Being constantly surrounded with the people I love, being able to express myself, and cooking whenever and whatever I want at the moment. 

What is your greatest fear? Being alone forever, death, and failure.

Which historical figure do you most identify with? You know, I don't enjoy history, so I couldn't tell you because I don't remember many :) But if I had to pick a time era, I definitely belong in the 1920s. 

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? Being indecisive. And having a hard heart, at times.

What is the trait you most deplore in others? 
Deceptiveness. Using others. 

What is your greatest extravagance? Too many shoes...and clothes..and baking supplies.

On what occasion do you lie? Um...I don't know. But I do lie on occasion...mostly if I'm scared or don't want to be hurt/punished.

What do you dislike most about your appearance? My belly :( Go away!

Which words or phrases do you overuse? "Yeah." "Yep." And other forms of that word. Otherwise.. I don't know!

What is your greatest regret? Cancelling on my 5 week trip to Spain in high school at the last minute for stupid reasons. 

What or who is the greatest love of your life? Stewie Pooie (aka Stuart, my boyfriend of 2 years) and my puppy, Piper. 

When and where were you happiest? I was so, so happy my sophomore year of high school when I found out I was understudy for Maria in the Sound of Music. And the rest of that year holds a lot of both good and bad memories, too - although mostly good!

Which talent would you like to have? To be an amazing pianist. I wish I could play piano so badly.

What is your current state of mind? I'm really, really bored.... finals sucked everything out of me. But glad to be done with school!

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? That I would not be addicted to food. I eat so much - if I only ate when I was hungry, I'd be much better off.

If you could change one thing about your family, what would it be? That I would be closer with my family, as a whole.

If you could choose what to come back as, what would it be? I'd wanna come back as a famous singer... that'd be awesome!

What is your most treasured possession? My puppy!! Is that a possession?

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Knowing I've let down God. It's happened a lot. And also, breaking up with Stuart. That was miserable for me when that happened. 

Where would you like to live? Somewhere sunny and warm - like Cali. Or New York City, or Boston (which are definitely not sunny and warm, but still).

What is your favorite occupation? Professional baker/bakery owner.

What is the quality you most like in a man? Respect.

What is the quality you most like in a woman? Inner beauty.

What do you most value in your friends? They make me laugh, I can confide in them, and we have fun together. They are there for me.

Who are your favorite writers? EB White. Charlotte's Web, anyone?! And Jodi Piccoult. 

Who is your favorite hero of fiction? Whatever hero is the romantic, cute boy in the book I'm reading at the time. 

Who are your heroes in real life? I don't know about heroes, but I definitely look up to multiple people that are a part of Navigators with me.

What is it that you most dislike? Bragging.

How would you like to die? I wouldn't :) Or sleeping. Peacefully. In my really, really old age. Next to my hubby.
